About the Belper Arts Trail

Belper Arts Trail began in 2014 when two local artists resolved to tackle the lack of dedicated space for such an overwhelmingly creative community.

With the help of local shops and businesses an interactive trail was born which over time grew and developed into the major event we all know and love.

The trail has given a platform to so many artists and musicians whilst equally boosting the local economy and building on community spirit.

People now come from much further afield to both exhibit and visit.

In 2024, after eleven years of hard work and commitment, Kelly and Susanne passed the baton to us, Sue and Nansy.

We aim to continue to with their vision and keep the Belper Arts Trail very much alive whilst continuing to build with new ideas and initiatives.

The trail receives no financial help from outside sources and is currently entirely run on artists fees and wristband sales, so we appreciate your ongoing support in helping us to keep this wonderful event running.

See you there!
